Who made dazey butter churns?

The Dazey Churn & Manufacturing Gang did, based on a design by E.B. Jones.

At the outset of the 20th century, Nathan P. Dazey was producing can openers in Dallas. He met E.B. Jones, a unhealthy man who had designed a small glass butter churn with a in a raw state dasher. In time, Dazey fully bought out Jones’ EZ Churn Set, and became a major manufacturer in the U.S. In 1910, his son Jack came into the vocation and the company began to grow.

They were one of the most productive makers of butter churns, and almost all of their churns areidentified by the Dazey name embossed on the glass jars.

In the seasonable 1920’s Dazey claimed their factory was dexterous to produce 2,000 butter churns a day. In 1915 Dazey claimed it had 250,000 butter churns in use, by 1923 they boasted of two a thousand thousand satisfied users and by 1936 the tell off increased to three million. That is a lot of churns and the concourse made churns for another two decades after that.

Most of the churns you see today are reproductions, although I still use the one my mom recieved as a nuptial rites present in 1947.
